The only disappointing thing about this book is finding out it's first in a series and the next book isn't out yet. Human trafficking is a huge issue, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed when wondering what part we can play in ridding the earth of its devastation. Savage weaves a compelling story, but even more important is the reminder of how important it is to fight this battle in the spiritual realm as well as the physical realm. Savage brings to light the enormity and reality of this evil that plagues our planet. Looking forward to the next in the series and being further challenged to make a difference.Product details

I love this book! Christian fiction that helps us think about the very real spiritual dimension in this world and how powers of darkness attempt to wreak havoc in God's best and intended plan for us and for the world is much more than a story for entertainment.
I don’t often have time to indulge in fictional books. However, this is a must read for others like me, who are normally buried in business-related topics. While classified as fiction, Lydia’s League of Angels addresses a topic that is hardly fictional. This is an important book to read as it raises awareness of Human Trafficking. S.G. Savage is a wonderful writer and leaves the reader yearning for the next book in the series. Don’t wait for the movie, it’s a must read now! And I admire Savage and love that she is dedicated to contributing to organizations dedicated to fighting injustices against women and children.
S.G. Savage takes you on a thriller ride in this novel, the first in a series. The characters are real, the plot gripping, the pace a real page-turner, and the main character was someone you could truly believe in. We need more stories like this, courageous, inspirational, and motivating! I highly recommend this novel. ~ Nanette O'Neal, author of A Doorway Back to Forever Believe.
It's strangely hard to find supernatural Christian fiction, which makes me happy to know this is only the first of a series of Lydia books. Being able to read and imagine the "unseen" drama going on in the heavenly realm (which has more to do with life on earth than we would think) makes us remember the epic story we are living, and that the invisible things may be more real than what we can actually see.
A beautifully written story with a more purpose than just to entertain you, although it does plenty of that. There's so many layers to this book that you can't help but feel compelled to keep reading. I not only want to know how i ends, but I want to make the world better after reading it. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
S. G. Savage does a wonderful job of creating a sixth sense - that the reader can see beyond into the spiritual world and realize the war that is going on between good and evil. Lu is a a delightful character and as you hold your breathe with suspense as the story unfolds, you will experience a unique and thought-provoking perspective on the world. This book addresses the hard topics of life in a new and interesting way, a fresh look that impacts your soul in a good way. I'm pleased that this is only the beginning of a series. Wow, keep the story going. I highly recommend!
I was honored to have met this author at a conference and she is such a joy! Her passion and love for people is very contagious! This book is so powerful and much needed. It tells a riveting story that keeps you wanting to read more, but at the same time subtly mixes in major issues like Sex trafficking that need to be addressed! I am excited that I will be passing out a few of these books to women as we minister to many people who live on the streets and are confronted with these issues on a daily basis.
